COMBAT MARTIAL ARTS
实战术

There are several combat martial arts taught at Imperial Combat Arts school in Denver CO. These combined martial arts have been trained together as effective combat system since the 1600's. Brought over by our Chinese Grandmasters to the United States in the 1960's, this combined study contains all the elements of combat martial arts; hand to hand combat, ground-fighting, grappling, joint locks (Chin Na), melee weapons, tactical training, firearms, and wilderness skills.

IMPERIAL WU TANG STYLES
武當拳

Picture
Every aspect of these styles are founded on fighting multiple opponents and involve the use of strikes, kicks, vital point attacks, knees, elbows, toughened legs, arms and hands, as well as evasion, blocks and controls. These arts evolved from melee weapons masters and share the same maneuvers and lethal techniques by transforming the body into a weapon itself. Imperial Wu Tang is a study of Pakua, H'sing-I, Wu Hing, Tai Chi, The Black-Scorpion, & Grey Cloud.

LONG MO HSING-I CH'UAN
龍脉形意拳

SHEN TAO TAI CHI CH'UAN
聖道太极拳

Shen Tao T'ai Chi Ch'uan, literally meaning "Sacred Way of the Supreme Ultimate Fist " is a master level study of several forms of Tai Chi Ch'uan. Tai Chi is an ancient Taoist Martial Art based on the Tai Chi Philosophy of the I-ching or Book of Changes (1000–750 BCE) 易有太極. Tai Chi at a combat level is a refinement of martial skill, this is self evident in that Tai Chi contains all manner of techniques such as finger strikes that require toughening and hard training. PAKUA CH'UAN
八卦掌

The Eight Trigrams Fist is the dynamic circular running combat art of Dong Haichuan, a bodyguard and martial arts instructor of the Imperial Court. Pakua contains an extremely wide variety of techniques and weapons, including various strikes with toughened hands and fingers and kicks from distinctively evasive, circular and dynamic footwork. Running during combat whether armed or unarmed is nonexistent in sport fighting, yet well understood in military martial arts.

WU H'SING CH'UAN
五行拳

The Five Elements is a combat system and fundamental part of the Wu Tang Martial Arts . In ancient China, Taoist scholars developed a profound understanding of life based on minute observation of nature. They understood that everything in the Universe comes out of the ‘unnamable’ , the TAO, which manifests as the dual principles of Yin and Yang. Along with the law of Yin and Yang, the ancient Taoists observed a pattern of expression in nature that they interpreted as and named, the 5 Elements or 5 Phases. Enter Page> Wu H'sing

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU & COMBAT GRAPPLING

Imperial Combat Arts teaches full Brazilian Jiu Jitsu classes to give students a strong base for the combat grappling taught in the Animal Systems.
