      Tai Chi Chuan today is most commonly know for its health benefits and practitioner longevity. The use of tai chi as a martial art is quite challenging and requires a great deal of training.

   Tai Chi Chuan translates literally to "Supreme Ultimate Fist". Throughout Imperial Wu Tang history students training Tai Chi from a combat perspective advance as much as two years faster into the advanced martial arts. 

 The  aspects of training accredited to this are that the study of Tai Chi trains one to move from a dynamic center, to have techniques and fight on all angles, it trains one to carry the momentum or energy from each technique to the next, and Tai Chi even at a basic level, develops stance, wide angle vision, breath, and imprints a wide variety of combat technique into the body.
