IMPERIAL EIGHT ANIMALS
|
These highly lethal and legendary fighting styles are for a true elite class of martial artist, and require years of toughening and training to master. Each animal style is itself a complete martial art with its own history, weapons, strikes, chin na, and signature hand toughening, brought together into one combat system at least 70 years ago. MELEE WEAPON MASTERY
|
Imperial Combat Arts has direct lineage to the ancient battlefields of China and teaches master levels of traditional and modern weapons. Melee weapons are used in almost every life and death fight short of firearms, from the knife & baton to any improvised objects. This part of training is often neglected from other martial arts and yet is perhaps the most important to study. Fully immersive weapon training is vastly different from basic Kung Fu. IMPERIAL WU TANG CH'UAN
These legendary military arts were trained by Officers and the Imperial Guard since 960 c.e., with over a millennium of war in their refinement. Wu Tang means essentially "Military Training" and is a mastery of all manner of weapons, as well as forming the body into a weapon itself. These Arts of War are based on fighting multiple opponents using weapons, and then when unarmed, apply these same techniques with highly toughened legs, arms, and hands. Enter Page> Wu Tang

HAND TOUGHENING - BODY CONDITIONING
|
This level of toughening is for true combat, far from wrapping the wrists and wearing gloves for competitive sport. These are real weapons forged for life-and-death battle. Our Masters, with decades of toughening, demonstrate the power of these arts by striking through wood and concrete with bare knuckles and fingertips, kicking through 4 bats with the shins, breaking staves with the forearms, as well as tearing the eyes and throats from pig cadavers. BOXING & MUAY THAI
Imperial Combat Arts employs a Boxing and Muay Thai Coach to train students in these arts for a strong sparring base to their combat training. These classes are taught each week at the school and are included in students monthly dues. Students with experience in sparring styles perform better in our combat styles that specialize in techniques that can't be used in sport. Classes are taught by Coach Tito who fights competitively and also teaches at Boxing and Muay Thai gyms.

BRAZILIAN JIU JITSU & COMBAT GRAPPLING
Imperial Combat Arts teaches Brazilian Jiu Jitsu Combatives, the same course designed for the U.S. military, to give students a base for our combat grappling systems. Where Jiu Jitsu teaches how to safely subdue opponents our Combat Grappling has a vast array of techniques designed to destroy opponents quickly with no regard for tap-out submissions. This combat focus opens up a vast array of attacks and is several times larger than BJJ. Enter Page> Ground-fighting

Matt Catura- "I have been involved in these arts for over 12 years. This is a true in depth marital art teaching based on hundreds of years observing and testing combat in every conceivable way. It is a highly differentiated complex system, integrating full body intelligence, mental knowledge, technical skill, dynamic power, and endless creativity. Training here, one is constantly pushed and challenged, resulting in a strong body and spirit, and a disciplined warrior's mind. High Master Aquila is an extraordinary teacher. He is incredibly dedicated to these arts and passing them on."
Jeremy Gregory- "As a former law enforcement officer and currently working in the nonprofit sector alongside rangers fighting the poaching pandemic primarily in Africa; at Imperial Combat Arts I have gained invaluable training and knowledge on outdoor/wilderness survival skills, hand to hand combat, grappling, restraints, weapons and so much more. Imperial Combat Arts will help cultivate and advance a poised & confident state of being."
Shaunie Rasmussen- "Since joining this school several months ago, I’ve found myself growing stronger physically, mentally and spiritually. Each instructor has a wealth of knowledge alongside a unique approach to teaching the arts, providing both a breadth and depth of insight. You get out what you put in and it’s incredibly rewarding to witness yourself and those around you conquer fears, build confidence and discipline, and accomplish things you may not have thought possible. Being a female, this has had a particularly profound impact on me, and I have experienced nothing short of genuine support from the group throughout this entire process."
Joseph Hamilton- "I have trained in the martial arts for 12 years in Sil Lum Kenpo Ryu and western sword fighting as well as training with martial artists from other backgrounds such as Jeet Kun Do and Wing Chun. And I will tell you now I have not seen a school as versatile, complex, and comprehensive as this one. Everything you could ever wish to know about the combat arts can be found here. They don’t train competitors, minor self defense, or brawlers. Here you will only find warriors."
Graham White- 'Imperial Combat Arts is powerful, lethal, and just simply hardcore. The arts will push you and test your physical and mental ability harder than almost any other training I have seen today. The arts may not be for everyone, but I have learned a great deal about myself and my abilities through these arts. I have fallen in love with them. As these arts spiral out, the more your around it, the more you want it. Test how strong your willpower really is."
Kyle Warner- "This place is the real deal. Imperial Combat Arts teaches you so much, seriously tests your will, and will change your life for the better if you let this art take a hold. Compared to other martial arts schools, you get way more bang for your buck. I haven't seen any other place that can compare. This is a difficult road to take, without a doubt, but the guidance that the instructors give you along the way is top notch. They devote a lot of their time to helping teach this ancient form of combat.
Ana Mission- "This school has given me invaluable lessons and endless opportunities to develop myself as a martial artist, and as a person. Imperial Combat Arts will not only train in you real combat, survival and tactical skills it will also train in you an ability to push beyond any mental/physical limitations you thought you had. It will naturally develop your character, confidence and innate body intelligence, if you let it... These arts are intense to train and this school is as equally welcoming as it is intimidating. The instructors exemplify true leadership and will not only teach you how to become a warrior, but what it means to be one. Nothing will be handed to you, however you will be truly supported if you are willing to put in the work."
Kang Hu- "I have been training under High Master Aquila for just over 20 years here at Imperial Combat arts, It as been quite a journey into Mastery, words do not give justice to what our arts give an individual and the spiral effects it has in the arts and in life, the discipline learned here helps you in the real world - if you are looking for the real deal (combat martial arts ) complete fighting styles that have been battlefield tested this is a rare find. I encourage you to get the willpower to get down here, no one has ever left because the arts are easy, all have respect for what we do !!!"
S Stone- "I was on a waiting list over 4 months for a chance to interview at this school! Now I see why, this place is awesome and no one wants to give up their spot. It's tough training no doubt and those who have advanced here are total badasses and real inspirations for me. It's great to train with these rare people and not mainstream. Worth the wait and I'm holding my spot too if i'm able."
Luke Adams- "Since 2008 I have been learning from High Master Aquila at Imperial Combat Arts. These teachings have kept me alive and thriving through very intense jobs like Security officer at two hospitals. Loss Prevention specialist at Thornton Home Depot. Two Ambulance services in Virginia and my current Career Fire Department in Galeton Colorado. These skills learned at ICA are used every minute of every day. If you have discipline, courage, commitment and will power to pursue your dreams? Than you are almost ready to start thinking about if you have what it takes to succeed at this school! This is no joke. It is worth it. If you are strong enough."
Oscar Veloz- "Entrenee en este citio en el 2009 con Aquila. Me enseno llaves y lo necesario para desarmar oponentes para mi trabajo como bouncer en nyc.
