|
The Imperial Leopard is designed to fight multiple opponents with lethal intent and comes from a direct lineage of true combat level martial arts.At Imperial Combat Arts Leopard Kung Fu is a Mixed Martial Art containing 3 unique Sub Styles that make this effective fighting style a complete martial art with master level toughening, ground fighting, grappling, chin na, hand to hand, kicks, throws, and weapon mastery.
TRAINING LEOPARD KUNG FU
To master Imperial Leopard Style Kung Fu our practitioners develop the highest levels of hand toughening, leg toughening, and body conditioning. There are numerous challenging exercises, forms, hundreds of sets for strikes, kicks, throws, and chin na, and of course matching. In addition Imperial Leopard trains all types of drills for combat, these drills make use of the usual martial arts mitts and bags, as well as several traditional and modern custom made devices.
LEOPARD TOUGHENING
The Leopard Kung Fu Hand Weapons are legendary and kill with one strike to the throat. Leopard masters at Imperial Combat Arts demonstrate the ability to strike solid wood with bare knuckles, breaking 3 inches of pine, three times in one second, with the same hand, in a very fast flurry. This level of toughening is far from wrapping the hands and wearing boxing gloves for sport, these are true weapons designed for life-and-death combat. Enter Page> Hand Toughening
LEOPARD EXERCISES
There are several levels of complex exercise required to develop the fast, agile, and intense way in which Leopard Masters fight. These exercises are done standing, on the ground, and in Golden Leopard are done with a partners full weight on your back. Leopard Kung Fu training at Imperial Combat Arts is more difficult than running, weightlifting, or walking in a squat for an hour, true Leopard Kung Fu mastery requires the highest levels of willpower toughening.

LEOPARD FORMS
Leopard Kung Fu forms are intense with a lot of dynamic maneuvers, leaping, lunging and fast paced flurries of striking, kicking, and clawing. An 8 minute form in Leopard is more challenging than sprinting for 8 minutes. Imperial Combat Arts forms are not like the flashy acrobatic forms you may see in form competitions. These forms teach brutally effective techniques that transfer directly to life-and-death combat.
LEOPARD SETS
Leopard Kung Fu sets are done vs all the other animal styles and the art of Leopard specializes in fighting larger, stronger opponents. Imperial Leopard practitioners are usually small, fast people and are always looking to test their skills and techniques on the largest most powerful students in class. In real life-and-death combat their are no weight classes and even a large Tiger Master can be suddenly dwarfed by a larger opponent and then favor Leopard and Southern Tiger tactics.
LEOPARD DRILLS
Leopard Kung fu drills a lot of fast paced striking and kicking as well as ripping, tearing, and clawing on specialized Leopard equipment. Some of this equipment is used to develop Leopards fast footwork and angular throat crushing strikes on moving and obstructed targets. It can take years of toughening to even begin to train on equipment used routinely in Imperial Leopard Kung Fu training. Leopards do a lot of their full speed workouts on balance beams and posts at our school.
LEOPARD MATCHING
Leopard Masters do most of their matching on beams and in rough terrain that challenges balance and awareness of footwork. Leopard Kung Fu is designed to fight in tough real world environments a long way from the flat controlled rings and mats used in competitive sports. One of the primary reasons our Headquarters school is indoor/outdoor is for the outdoor use of obstacles, running, high beams, training in the elements, and training with projectile weapons.
THE LEOPARD MIND
Leopard masters a cunning predatory mind that looks to recognize and exploit enemy patterns, and manipulate any situation into their advantage. Leopard Kung Fu has many faces in its use of deception and feigns. They're expert liars, and masterful actors who may appear small, cowering, injured, and afraid, to lower opponents defenses lureing them into a sense of superiority. The highly trained Masters then launch a ferocious assault of lethal techniques to vital points to end the fight quickly.

Here again the Leopard is a symbol of ferocity, cunning, and a master of tactical strategy.
